Here at Buick GMC of Brandywine, we’re involved in the business of selling and maintaining what we consider to be the best vehicles in the world. But let’s talk about a different kind of ride today: Experience literal horsepower when you enjoy a horse and carriage ride from Brandywine Carriage Tours.
Choose Your Adventure
There are three different options, including a one-hour carriage tour, a two-hour carriage tour, and one package that your can customize to your own specifications. The one-hour tour is a four-mile round trip through open fields, woods, and the local beauty of area farms. Along the way, your carriage driver will be pleased to talk with you about Maryland’s farming history as well as tell some of the unique and interesting storeis of the Brandywine and Baden communities.
A Horse Is a Horse, Of Course
One of the coolest things about Brandywine Carriage Tours is that the tours are based out of Windmill Equestrian, which is a working farm and family home. The horses that draw the carriages are well-kept and treated more than humanely. When the horses aren’t pulling tours, they spend time grazing and playing on the 15 acres that make up Windmill Equestrian. The owners take pride in treating the horses like the family members they are.
